Opening Ceremony

EPC 2026 Opening, June 3^rd, 17.30 hrs. Limited Access, so Register Early

The Opening Ceremony of EPC 2026 will take place in Palazzo Re Enzo in the historical centre of Bologna and will be followed by the Welcome Reception. The Opening starts at 17.30 hrs.

The Palazzo is a unique venue but, for safety reasons, it can only accommodate 750 participants. Tickets for the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception will be distributed on a "first registered, first served" basis. So, if you wish to join the Opening, you are advised to register early! Registration opens 1 January 2026 at the EPC website.

By ticking the box on the EPC registration form you can indicate your wish to join the Opening but this is not a guarantee that you can join. Participation only depends on the time of your registration. The actual number of participants at the Opening will be closely monitored by the local authorities. We will do our utmost to allow as many participants as possible to join. For this reason an EPC desk will be available at the Palazzo where you can enter a waiting list if the maximum number of participants is reached and places become available in case of "no shows” or when people leave early.
