EPC 2016

The European Population Conference 2016 (EPC 2016) was organized by the European Association for Population Studies (EAPS) in collaboration with the German Federal Institute for Population Research (BiB).

EPC 2016 convened at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany, from 31 August - 1 September 2016. EPC 2016 was a general population conference with a special focus on "Demographic Change and Policy Implications".

The conference program was based on 1128 submissions covering the full range of population studies. Some 570 papers were presented in 121 simultaneous sessions, and about 250 posters were presented in 3 poster sessions. EPC 2016 was attended by around 1000 participants.
